2027: Fubara urges Rivers monarchs to remain neutral

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has urged traditional rulers in the state to remain neutral and maintain fairness as the country approaches the 2027 general elections. Speaking at the opening of the 126th, 127th and 128th Combined Quarterly Meeting of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council, Fubara emphasized that the conduct of traditional rulers must not result in division and crises.

He also reminded them to follow the oath and constitution they swore to before taking their positions, placing the state's interests above personal considerations.
