2027: 'APM not part of your Rainbow Coalition' - Makinde hits Wike

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, have responded to the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, over the introduction of the Rainbow Coalition in Rivers State. During a town hall meeting in Enugu, Makinde expressed his shock upon learning that Wike had included APM in the coalition list.

"Is it true that APM has become part of the Rainbow Coalition?" Makinde inquired, referring to a recent unveiling by Wike in Rivers State. The governor accused the ruling party of attempting to undermine opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections. They have attempted to undermine nearly all opposition parties through various means, including removing posters, disrupting campaigns, and offering financial incentives. In contrast, Makinde's team is focused on winning the hearts of Nigerians.
