World Series Game 5 game discussion
Will we see some champagne tonight?
MILWAUKEE, WI - OCTOBER 23: In the opening contest of the 2026 World Series showcased by Capital One, the Tampa Bay Rays emerged victorious with a thrilling extra-inning comeback against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This marked the fifth occasion since 1995 where a team down 3-0 in the World Series managed to secure a win in Game 4.
However, it's important to note that none of these teams managed to clinch Game 5, setting the stage for either a historic achievement by the Rays or the Brewers securing their first championship. Jacob Misiorowski, the Brewers' ace with a record of 16-5 and a 1.80 ERA, is expected to lead the Brewers' pitching staff. Fans can catch the action on FOX or WTMJ.
