‘Times change, friendship remains,’ Abdulsamad Rabiu hails ex-wife Musawa

In a post on his Facebook page, Rabiu praised Musawa for her passion and dedication to Nigeria's creative economy, despite the fact that their marriage had ended.

Rabiu described the surprise visit he received from Musawa at his Abuja office as "lovely," and highlighted the enduring nature of their friendship and respect for each other. "Times change, but friendship and respect remain. Wonderful to see the passion and dedication she continues to bring to Nigeria's culture and creative economy," Rabiu wrote.

According to a report by Premium Times in January 2026, Musawa herself has referred to her marriage to Rabiu as "the greatest experience" she has ever had. The billionaire businessman emphasized that while their personal relationship may have ended, their shared commitment to Nigeria's cultural and creative sectors remains strong.
