Samsung's Galaxy Tab S12 Plus has quietly become my favourite tablet —here's why I'd pick it over the Ultra

Samsung's Galaxy Tab S12 Plus has quickly become my favorite tablet, and I have several compelling reasons to recommend it over the Ultra model. While the Ultra boasts a larger 14.6-inch display, the Tab S12 Plus's 12.6-inch screen strikes the perfect balance between screen real estate and portability. The display isn't just visually impressive; it offers rich colors, excellent contrast, and a stunning brightness level that makes movies and TV shows a pleasure to watch on my train rides.

Its AMOLED panel also delivers true blacks and vibrant artwork, making comics an even more enjoyable experience. The Tab S12 Plus is lightweight and slim enough to fit comfortably in a messenger bag or backpack, making it easy to carry around. When compared to the iPad Pro M5, the Tab S12 Plus provides a more practical option for many users.

Although glare can be an issue in bright sunlight, the tablet's overall viewing experience remains impressive. The inclusion of Samsung's Pro Keyboard, albeit expensive, enhances the tablet's versatility, feeling like a genuine laptop. Its strong performance, long battery life, excellent pen support, and versatility make it an ideal device for work and entertainment.
