Qatar Health Ministry recalls Arla Protein Pudding batches over possible glass fragments

Doha, Qatar - The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the recall of three batches of Arla Protein Pudding products from local markets due to potential glass fragments that may pose a health risk to consumers.

The recall, initiated by Arla Foods, covers the Chocolate Flavoured Protein Pudding (200g) with batch ES26284003, the Salted Caramel Flavoured Protein Pudding (200g) with batch ES26276002, and the Hazelnut Latte Flavoured Protein Pudding (200g) with batch ES26247001. All three products have expiry dates ranging from February 18, 2027, to May 5, 2027.

The MoPH explained that the precautionary recall was prompted by the potential presence of glass fragments in the affected batches. The Food Safety Department is collaborating with the manufacturer, local suppliers, and distributors to ensure the withdrawal of the products from all points of sale and to track quantities distributed in the local market.

The Ministry is also implementing regulatory measures to safeguard the safety of food products available in Qatar.
