‘Provide daily photo, video proof’ - Atiku challenges Tinubu over Umrah trip

The African Democratic Congress presidential contender, Atiku Abubakar, has issued a challenge to President Bola Tinubu, demanding daily photographic and video evidence of Tinubu's presence in Saudi Arabia following the declaration of Tinubu's upcoming Umrah trip. This request was made by Atiku's principal media aide, Phrank Shuaibu, in a statement on Wednesday.

The announcement of Tinubu's departure from Abuja for Saudi Arabia for Umrah came shortly after. According to Atiku, the Nigerian people have a right to be aware of their President's whereabouts at all times. He criticized Tinubu for disappearing in the past and emphasized that daily photographic and video proof will demonstrate that Tinubu is indeed in the holy land. As of the time of this report, the Presidency has not yet responded to Atiku's challenge.
