Post Malone Teases New Song ‘Bad Mood’ That’ll Transport You Right Back to His ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ Era
"eternal buzz coming soon," the musician teased of his upcoming album.
Post Malone has teased his upcoming album, Eternal Buzz, with a snippet of a new track called "Bad Mood." The musician shared the clip on Instagram, sitting on a couch and drinking a beer as he belts out the lyrics to the catchy reverb-drenched tune. "Guess I'm doomed," he croons, followed by "Didn't think things through/ What did I do? ...
Sorry I was in a bad mood." The caption accompanying the post reads, "eternal buzz coming soon 😤😤 love you mofo's," referencing the title of his next album. Fans have been speculating about a return to Post Malone's melodic pop style of hip-hop, and the new teaser suggests that their suspicions might have been justified. The track sounds reminiscent of his signature era, Beerbongs & Bentlies, which topped the Billboard 200 in 2018.
In recent years, Post Malone has shifted his sound towards country-inspired music, topping the U.S. albums chart with 2024's F-1 Trillion and reaching No. 2 with 2023's Austin. The artist recently announced that he had been working on Eternal Buzz for an extended period, promising fans that the long wait would be worth it.
