‘Paw Patrol 4’ in the Works at Spin Master and Paramount Animation for 2029 Release

The beloved children's show "Paw Patrol" is set to expand further with the development of a fourth theatrical film in the franchise, titled "Paw Patrol 4." The announcement was made by Spin Master, Paramount Animation, and Nickelodeon Movies, all partners in the project. Series director/co-writer Cal Brunker and writer Bob Barlen will once again collaborate on the new movie, which is scheduled for release in 2029.

The "Paw Patrol" franchise has proven to be a massive success, grossing $510 million across three films, with an additional $18 billion in lifetime retail sales from merchandise. The big money in "Paw Patrol" comes from the toys and products associated with the series, rather than the films themselves. However, the studio sees potential in taking the franchise to the big screen once more, with Spin Master Entertainment EVP & President Vishnu Athreya expressing their investment in the franchise to provide more content for fans.

The new "Paw Patrol" movie will be produced by Spin Master and aims to expand the PAW Patrol universe through movies, series, specials, short-form video, and connected play. Jennifer Dodge, President of Paramount Animation, stated that they are thrilled to continue the journey of the PAW Patrol pups on the big screen. The movie's writer, Bob Barlen, shared his excitement about crafting a new story that he believes will resonate with audiences.

Cal Brunker, the returning series director/co-writer, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that they have written a new story that audiences are going to love. The success of the "Paw Patrol" movies has been remarkable, with audiences forming a strong connection with the characters. Brunker cannot wait to share this new adventure with the world.
