Four people were killed and six injured when a container-laden truck overturned onto a bus on Berger Bridge in Lagos, according to a statement from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA). The accident occurred early Wednesday when the articulated truck, carrying a 20-foot container, collided with a Toyota Hiace bus, traveling uphill at excessive speed and losing control.

Four adult males died at the scene, while six others sustained injuries. LASEMA, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and the Nigeria Police Force secured the scene and evacuated the injured to Epe General Hospital for treatment. The state government has commiserated with the families of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
