OpenAI plans to buy Google's AI chips

OpenAI is reportedly planning to acquire Google's AI chips, according to a report by The Information on Tuesday. The news outlet spoke to an individual with knowledge of the matter. This potential purchase comes as tech companies increase their investment in data centers and semiconductors to meet the growing demand for AI computing power.

The proposed deal would strengthen the partnership between OpenAI and Alphabet's Google. Both companies are rivals in the AI sector and the search industry. However, the report did not reveal any specifics about the financial terms or other conditions of the deal.
