Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor recounted the tale of how he proposed to his pregnant wife Alia Bhatt during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18. The star took to Instagram to share the details of the unique proposal that took place amidst the Masai Mara jungle in Africa. Ranbir had arranged for his guide and driver to stop in the middle of the jungle so he could propose to Alia, who had a particular fondness for capturing such moments on Instagram.
He humorously noted, "There were 3 babbar sher (lions) on the other side during the proposal," as he knelt down on one knee like a chhuha (small mouse) with the engagement ring in hand. Ranbir described the moment as "adbhut" (extraordinary) and shared that he cherishes it deeply. The couple went on to get married on April 14, 2022, and welcomed their daughter Raha on November 6 of that year.
