Liverpool star is on par with Van Dijk based on current level

Liverpool has acquired a centre-back, Jeremy Jacquet, for £55 million in January and he has quickly settled into his new team alongside Virgil van Dijk. The 21-year-old has made an immediate impact, helping reshape the conversation around a deal that initially faced scrutiny. Despite being purchased at a high price and with limited first-team experience, Jacquet's performances have shown he is ready for the step up.

His data, such as his top speed nearing 35km/h, a passing completion rate close to 89%, and his ability to win 70% of ground duels and 74% of aerial contests, highlights his potential. The most notable aspect of his first few months has been his seamless integration with Van Dijk, suggesting a balanced platform for Liverpool's defense.

This quick adaptation and success have led to the belief that Liverpool's decision to invest in Jacquet was justified, and he is now ready to justify the club's conviction.
