Jets Fans Think Team Posted a Big Hint About Potential Garrett Wilson Trade
New York Jets fan treating potential trade rumors like a serial killer podcast — everything is a clue.
As fans of the New York Jets observed a recent post on the team's X account, they speculated that the organization might be hinting at a potential trade for wide receiver Garrett Wilson. The Jets shared a picture of the uniforms they would wear against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, with Adonai Mitchell donning the jersey. This prompted fans to question why Wilson's name was not prominently displayed, leading to speculation about the team's intentions.
Former Jets coach and ESPN analyst Rex Ryan chimed in on the matter, expressing his disbelief that Wilson would abandon the team in a time of struggle. Ryan stated that Wilson wouldn't "run from a fight" and believed that the player was destined to succeed with the Jets, though he couldn't determine when that would be.
