India news Live Updates, 28 October 2026: The NDA has swept all four seats in the Karnataka Legislative Council elections, with the opposition JD(S) winning one seat and the BJP securing three. JD(S) leader and Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy congratulated Prime Minister Modi and the NDA candidates, crediting his hard work for the development of the country and Karnataka's educated graduates and teachers who voted for the NDA.
