Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani claims he played a key role in the appointment of General Christopher Musa as the Minister of Defence by President Bola Tinubu. Sani stated this during an interview on Trust TV’s Daily Politics, explaining his continued support for Tinubu despite criticism. The governor pointed to Musa's appointment from Kaduna, as well as other federal positions for state representatives, as evidence of his influence.
Sani emphasized that the benefits for Kaduna State were the motivation behind his support for Tinubu, rather than any personal favoritism.
