How I Fixed TTS Hallucinations Without Regenerating Everything

The audit had done its job. I knew where the generated audiobook didn’t match the manuscript. Now I had another problem. Most of the audio around those errors was already good. The pacing worked. The voices worked. The performances worked. Regenerating an entire chapter to fix one localized problem meant asking the TTS model to recreate all of that again. And generative audio isn’t deterministic…

The audit revealed errors in the generated audiobook. Regenerating an entire chapter to fix a localized issue was not efficient. Instead, treating generated audio as recorded audio allowed for a punch-in approach. Borrowing from the recording studio, a corrupted region could be identified, a replacement generated, and spliced into the existing audio without altering the rest of the performance.

For successful repair, contextual units must be patched, not isolated errors. If a single word is wrong, regenerating the sentence might suffice. If a sentence is corrupted, surrounding exchanges may be regenerated instead. The model should perform the supplied text verbatim, without adding, omitting, paraphrasing, or continuing beyond the supplied text.

Matching the existing master audio was crucial to ensure the replacement blended seamlessly with the surrounding audio. The repaired Chapter 9 reduced the runtime from roughly 11 minutes to about 9 minutes and 51 seconds, removing the 73 seconds of hallucinated dialogue while preserving the rest of the performance.

Building a Client-Side QR Code Debugger with 6 Optical Tests and 10 Languages

Have you ever scanned a QR code that looked perfectly fine on a high-resolution screen, but failed miserably when printed? It happens all the time.

  • RahaLune QR Code Debugger performs six optical tests on uploaded images
  • Interface available in 10 languages including Arabic and Urdu
  • Dynamically updates page content for localized search visibility

The 73-Second Hallucination: Building Automated QA for Generative TTS

In my previous article, I wrote about solving ear fatigue in long-form TTS: repeated cadence, unnatural pacing, and the tendency for generated narration to fall into predictable patterns.

  • Developed Multimodal Script Verification Pipeline to compare generated audio with original script
  • Identified 73-second unplanned argument in Chapter 9 as major issue
  • Emphasized performance review and human review as distinct tasks in final step

useSearchNavigate: Type-Safe URL State Without the Drift

A small hook over TanStack Router's navigate that keeps tabs, dialogs, and pages in the URL with types intact, and why the write lands after the commit instead of during render.

  • useSearchNavigate hook maintains URL state with type safety
  • Resolves drift issue when refreshing pages or changing tabs
  • Declares search schema on route, uses typed hook for reads

Your agent passed 10,000 evals. It can still deadlock.

If your agent workflow has 20 routing variables — retry counters, confidence thresholds, tool-success flags, budget checks — the guards on its edges combine in 2^20 = 1,048,576 ways.

  • Workflow agent with 20 routing variables has 1,048,576 potential evaluation combinations
  • 10,000 evaluations sample less than 1% of possibilities, leaving 99% unseen combinations
  • SharpLogic tool counts stall formula combinations to identify workflow stalls before deployment
