GTA 6 is set to be a massive download for PlayStation 5, requiring a whopping 210GB to be installed. According to PlayStation Game Size, which monitors PS Store game releases, the game's 210GB download size is significantly larger than many other titles. This huge file size is due to the game's highly-detailed open-world map and extensive side activities.
Despite the large size, it's not much more than some of the biggest games on PS5, such as Call of Duty, which also boasts large file sizes. GTA 6 is expected to arrive on November 19th for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with pre-loading beginning on November 12th. However, pre-loading might not be enough time for everyone to complete the download.
The exact space the game will occupy on a console's SSD may be smaller, but all players will need to download over 200GB to play Rockstar's latest game.
