EPL: Carrick, Fernandes resolve tensions after Bournemouth defeat

Michael Carrick and captain Bruno Fernandes have held face-to-face talks to resolve tensions following Manchester United's 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth. According to Daily Post Nigeria, Carrick left Fernandes on the bench for the full 90 minutes during the match, a move some viewed as punishment for the midfielder criticizing Carrick's tactics during a Champions League defeat to Como.

Daily Post Nigeria reports that United's hierarchy has decided to keep Carrick in his position ahead of the upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea. Following their conversation, Fernandes is expected to feature in the game against Chelsea this Saturday.
