Drake Gets Surprise 40th Birthday Roast From Jeff Ross in Houston: ‘The F–king General’
Drizzy previously requested to be roasted by Jim Carrey for his birthday.
Drake turned 40 on October 24, 2026, and his birthday celebration in Houston included a surprise 40th birthday roast from Jeff Ross, known as the Roastmaster General. The Houston event, which took place on Tuesday, was part of a weekend-long celebration that began in New York City. Ross captioned a selfie with Drake on Instagram, calling him "The F–king General."
The exact details of Ross's roast have not yet been released on social media. Earlier in September, Jim Carrey had roasted Ross for his 61st birthday, but Drake expressed a desire for Ross to roast him instead. Drake and Ross had previously interacted on social media, with Ross sending Ross a message from his "Canadian mountain man" persona.
On his birthday, Drake enjoyed a private dinner at Casa Cipriani in Manhattan, where the Backstreet Boys joined him on stage for their hit "I Want It That Way." Guests at the celebration were given designer gifts and cash prizes. 2026 has been a busy year for Drake, who released a triple album set in May and became the first artist to hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200 simultaneously with ICEMAN , HABIBTI , and MAID OF HONOUR.
