Djokovic celebrates 'big win' on return to Basel
Novak Djokovic pulls off a hard-fought comeback victory over Ugo Humbert to keep alive his hopes of qualifying for the season-ending ATP Finals.
Novak Djokovic staged a remarkable comeback to defeat French player Ugo Humbert in Basel, marking his first indoor match since 2011. The match concluded after two and a half hours with Djokovic emerging victorious. "It's my first indoor match, so I expected to be a little bit rusty in a tough draw," Djokovic remarked. This triumph is Djokovic's 20th win of the year, and his 21st consecutive season with this tally.
Despite being 319 points behind Rafael Jodar in the ATP Finals race, this win keeps him in contention for the prestigious event.
