DIIV, the shoegaze-infused electronic band, has released their new album ZIRP! produced by A. G. Cook. The album, which is the reigning Album Of The Week, includes singles The Fountain, Kid, and Trillions, all of which have been featured on their 5 Best Songs Of The Week lists. The latest single, Dare Me, continues the fusion of their shoegaze style with electronic textures and comes with a captivating music video directed by Louie Kovatch.
The video depicts the band performing in an abandoned office, dressed in the rumpled business attire they have been wearing recently.
DIIV has a series of festival appearances planned in Europe, starting with the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris on November 2nd. The tour will then move to Kortrijk, London, Kingston, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland in Australia, followed by performances in New Zealand, North America, and the United States. The tour concludes in London on June 30th at the Troxy.
