Apple has launched refreshed versions of its Mac chargers and a World Travel Adapter Kit, including a new AC Connector 2 design. The updated 70W Power Adapter, 140W Power Adapter, and Power Adapter Extension Cable are now available on Apple's online store across the U.S. and numerous countries worldwide. Additionally, the company has reintroduced the World Travel Adapter Kit, priced at $39 in the U.S., with the new AC Connector 2 included in each of the international AC plugs.
Apple's new power adapters, extension cable, and plugs utilize the AC Connector 2 with a pill-shaped design to meet updated regulations. The previous AC Connector 1 had a notched design. The company rolled out the AC Connector 2 in select countries earlier this year, causing some compatibility issues with older accessories. To address this, Apple has released these updated accessories featuring the AC Connector 2.
