AC technician held with 13 kg ganja in Hyderabad

A 28-year-old AC technician, identified as Md. Ayaz, has been arrested with 13 kg of ganja in Hyderabad. The arrest was made by the Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone team, and Borabanda police. Ayaz, a resident of Sri Ram Nagar, Yousufguda, was allegedly procuring the contraband for about a year from a supplier in Tangi village, Khordha, Odisha, and transporting it to Hyderabad for sale.

He was apprehended near the SPR Hills open ground while waiting for a customer to buy the drug. Police seized the ganja and a mobile phone from him, noting that Ayaz turned to drug peddling due to financial difficulties and insufficient income from his job as an AC technician.
