Ukraine-Krieg: Putin spricht erstmals mit Stubb und Støre über Ukraine

Italian politician Matteo Salvini argues against further financial and weapon supplies to Ukraine during his party meeting. He seeks re-election as party leader, promising to "go to the cabinet and defend the clear position of the Lega: we cannot continue sending money and weapons to Ukraine," says Salvini. The party delegates applauded his announcement and later elected him as the Lega party's leader again, with 465 votes compared to 146 for his challenger, Massimo Garavaglia.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia attacked Ukraine with almost 2,300 combat drones, 1,600 guided bombs, and 48 various types of rockets, including ballistic missiles, within a week. Zelenskyy called on Western allies to expedite the delivery of interceptors. The attacks affected nine regions, including power plants, grain warehouses, residential houses, and commercial buildings, resulting in nearly daily deaths and injuries.
