Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, ruler of Sharjah, has unveiled a new women-only clock tower planned for Kalba, alongside an integrated care complex on Khorfakkan Road. The clock tower is intended to offer a private and comfortable space for women to gather and relax. Construction is underway, with plans to include an attractive design, scenic views, and recreational facilities such as an indoor hall with games.
The tower will complement the existing one, which was inaugurated by Sheikh Dr Sultan in 2022, and is set to add a modern touch to the area. Meanwhile, the newly approved integrated care complex will feature nursing homes, physiotherapy facilities, counseling centers, childcare homes, a women's protection center, a community center, and ample parking spaces.
The complex aims to provide comprehensive care, rehabilitation, family support, and community activities, alongside gardens, a mosque, and an event square.
