Rada Extends Residency Deadline for Foreign Soldiers
Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada approved legislation extending the transitional period for foreign and stateless service members to apply for temporary residence permits from six months to one year. The bill also provides a separate three-month window after signing a military contract and addresses legal status after discharge. Adopted Oct. 27, the legislation was being prepared for signing.
