MultiChoice Introduces Simplified DStv, GOtv Packages for Customers in Nigeria

MultiChoice, a Canal+ Company, has unveiled simplified DStv and GOtv packages for customers in Nigeria, marking the company's most significant product update in years. Effective from November 5, 2026, the new package structure comprises Starter, Select, Sports, and Premium options for DStv subscribers, and Easy, Starter, Select, and Sports choices for GOtv customers.

The revamped lineup aims to provide clearer choices, more accessible content, and greater value for subscribers. Kemi Omotosho, CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, emphasized the company's dedication to delivering better value and access to their favorite entertainment. She added that the new packages reflect how customers currently watch, featuring tailored options for general entertainment and sports fans.

For the first time, some of DStv's most popular channels will be available at more affordable price points. The new Starter package will cost subscribers 6,000 Naira and include two brand-new channels: SuperSport KICKOFF, which broadcasts Premier League Match of the Week and selected UEFA Champions League football, and Africa Magic+, offering premium local and international series for the price.

Select, priced at 11,000 Naira, offers a diverse range of entertainment options for families, including all movie channels, local and international series, top football and sports content, and the complete kids' channel. Sports, customized specifically for football fans, is priced at 21,000 Naira and features every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match, WWE and UFC events, as well as general entertainment channels available on Select.

DStv's most comprehensive package, Premium, remains the go-to choice for subscribers seeking an extensive range of content. Priced at 31,000 Naira, Premium includes all Sports package channels plus additional premium sporting titles such as Formula 1, MotoGP, Grand Slam tennis, and Golf majors, as well as the finest international series on M-Net.

Additionally, M-Net has refreshed its movie lineup with M-Net Movies+, M-Net Stars, and M-Net Legends, providing subscribers with more blockbuster movies, faster access to new releases, and fewer repeats.

MultiChoice also announced that GOtv customers will benefit from its refreshed package line-up, launching alongside the new DStv offerings on November 5. The new GOtv packages are designed to provide an enhanced viewing experience tailored to local audiences, with the same focus on value, simpler choice, and access to the entertainment customers love.
