JAY-Z steps onto the Super Bowl stage after years behind the show

After a three-decade-long career in the music industry, JAY-Z is set to make his debut as a Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, according to a recent announcement. This significant milestone comes after years of collaboration with Apple Music, the NFL, and Roc Nation, which culminated in the prestigious event scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

JAY-Z expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating that "Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world's biggest stage" would be a dream come true. To mark this historic occasion, Apple Music has released "JAY-Z's Road to Halftime" on their platform, featuring exclusive content, season-long programming, and experiences in partnership with the NFL.

Oliver Schusser, Apple's Vice President of Music and International Content, praised JAY-Z's impact on global music culture, highlighting the privilege of working closely with him in recent years. The artist lineup for the show includes Rihanna, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny, all of whom have graced the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage in recent years.

Viewers can catch the live broadcast on ESPN, ABC, Disney+, NFL+, and ESPN Deportes, with separate Spanish-language presentations on Univision. Apple Music took over sponsorship of the NFL's Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022, following a successful three-year partnership with Rihanna, Usher, and Kendrick Lamar.
