HBO's Harry Potter Series Officially Casts Two Key Characters
The new HBO Harry Potter TV show casts James and Lily Potter, as well as Charlie Weasley, with three new actors taking over the roles.
HBO is set to launch its Harry Potter series later this year, with key roles still to be cast for the anticipated second season. The upcoming adaptation will feature new lead actors Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley respectively. However, the focus has recently shifted to confirm the actors stepping into the roles of Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter.
Jasper Talbot, known for his work in Broadchurch, and Hannah Chinn, from The Conjuring: Last Rites, have been confirmed for these parts.
