Google’s working on a new look for Gemini Live, and we have a sneak peek for you
Gemini Live could be getting a Neural Expressive glow-up.
Google is currently working on a new visual design for its Gemini Live assistant, specifically its audio visualizer. The new design replaces the traditional pill-shaped visualizer with a circular button that is encircled by animated dots and features a glowing blue background. However, this redesign is still in the development phase and is plagued with noticeable visual glitches.
The extent of when this new look might be rolled out remains unknown. Google has been dedicated to ensuring the polished performance of Gemini, and this latest test extends that commitment to the visual aspect of the tool, particularly the conversational Gemini Live assistant. Earlier this month, we shared an early glimpse of a Gemini Live redesign featuring waveform animation and a dedicated mute button for Gemini's voice responses.
It appears Google might be shifting its focus. We recently observed another Gemini Live redesign, and this particular version departs from the familiar pill-shaped audio visualizer.
