Gattuso: ‘It helped that Sassuolo were down to 10, defensive block wasn’t very good’

Gennaro Gattuso, the manager of Lazio, has pointed out areas for improvement despite his team's dominant 6-2 victory over Sassuolo in Serie A. The Italian side claimed their eighth win in nine league games away against the Neroverdi on Tuesday evening, thanks in part to being a man down due to Sassuolo's red card. Gattuso highlighted the need for his Lazio to work on their defensive block and ability to manage games after going ahead.

The manager emphasized the importance of maintaining an aggressive mentality when playing against dangerous opponents like Sassuolo. However, he acknowledged that his side must remain realistic and continue to work hard to avoid potential losses as they start the Serie A season with a perfect record.
