Mozilla has announced two new features for its AI-powered browsing experience, Smart Window, in Firefox. The first feature is AI-powered form filling, which can suggest answers for web forms by drawing context from other open tabs. This goes beyond traditional autofill, which typically handles basic information like names and addresses.
The second feature is website monitoring, similar to Safari's "Notify Me" feature, allowing users to monitor webpages for specific changes like price drops or product availability. Users can set up to 15 active tasks, with options for daily or weekly checks, and receive notifications when changes are detected. Both features are currently available in the Smart Window beta for Firefox desktop, limited to English-language users in the US and Canada.
