Daler Mehndi committed a crime, why should I apologise?: Minister refutes Mika Singh’s claim

The conflict between Uttarakhand cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal and singer Daler Mehndi has resurfaced. After initial reports suggesting they had reconciled, Uniyal has firmly denied ever apologizing. He believes Mehndi was responsible for the issue that occurred at the Kunjapuri Mela, and accused Mehndi of collecting a sizable fee without delivering a performance.

Uniyal questioned whether Mehndi had informed the audience if he was ill and why he performed despite his health condition. The minister's revised figures differ from earlier accounts, with him now stating the singer was paid Rs 26 lakh, while previously reporting Rs 35 lakh. This contradicts other reports that claimed Uniyal had apologized to Mehndi following the incident.
