Dr Dakuku Peterside has been appointed as the Director of the African University of Science and Technology’s (AUST) African Leadership Legacy Project. The project, launched through AUST's Centre for Pan-African and Peace Studies, aims to measure leadership impact and promote governance systems capable of sustaining development beyond individual leaders' tenures.

The initiative, led by Programme Manager Dr Bosco Okolo-Obi, will focus on accountable governance and sustainable leadership across Africa, with fieldwork beginning in Nigeria and comparative studies planned in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, and Rwanda.
