CHVRCHES have unveiled their latest single "Overthinker," a preview track from their upcoming album "All The King’s Men," set to release on January 22nd through Futures. The song showcases lead singer Lauren Mayberry's emotive vocals as she delves into themes of family dynamics, exploring the duality of love as a "shelter and a storm."
Accompanied by a visual metaphor of a bounce castle that symbolizes the complex relationship, "Overthinker" features driving synths and electronic textures, diverging from the synth-pop sound explored in their previous album "Screen Violence." Recorded over three weeks in Glasgow with the band's members Iain Cook and Martin Doherty, the album merges British and Scottish musical influences while expanding their sonic palette.
CHVRCHES will embark on a 2027 tour to promote the new album, starting in Philadelphia on February 13th and concluding in London on May 6th, with stops across North America and the UK and Ireland. Tickets go on sale on October 30th via Ticketmaster, and the band's extensive tour schedule is detailed below.
