ASOKA Orihuela is organizing a charity dog walk on Sunday, 1 November, inviting residents to spend time with abandoned dogs and support responsible pet adoption. The event, held at the Orihuela Animal Protection Centre in San Bartolomé, offers three sessions: a Spanish session at 10am, an English session at 10.45am for international residents, and a dog walking-only session at 11.30am.
Participants are required to make a minimum donation of €5 for registration via asokaorihuela@gmail.com. Additionally, ASOKA is seeking local businesses to sponsor its 2027 charity calendar, with advertising spaces available for €35 or €60, to be emailed to calendarioasokaorihuela@gmail.com. Both initiatives aim to raise funds, promote animal welfare, and help abandoned dogs find loving homes.
