Acer’s Intel Arc-powered Steam Deck rival finally gets a price and release date
Acer's new gaming beast is almost ready to leave its cage.
Acer's new gaming handheld, the Predator Atlas 8, is set to launch on November 1 exclusively at Best Buy. Priced at $1,300, the device is powered by Intel's Arc G3 Extreme processor, features an 8-inch 120Hz VRR display, an 80Wh battery, and runs on Windows 11. Although Acer unveiled the handheld at Computex 2026, the price has proven to be a significant factor for potential buyers.
Despite this, the first round of pre-orders for the device sold out even before its official release, leaving many who were interested to hope for re-opening of online orders on November 1 when the handheld becomes available in stores.
