You can't hide Tinubu's failures with lies - ADC knocks APC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for its inability to conceal the shortcomings of President Bola Tinubu's administration. This stance was articulated by the ADC's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, in a statement on Monday. The ADC's response came in the wake of a remark made by Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, who had accused the ADC of offering nothing to Nigerians.

Alake's statement prompted the ADC to rebuke his claims, asserting that the party should concentrate on its own responsibilities rather than attempting to deflect criticism away from Tinubu's failures through lies and propaganda. The ADC argued that the average Nigerian is suffering under Tinubu's rule and that no quantity of deceit or embellishment from the APC can mask the nation's hunger and hardships.

Furthermore, the opposition party contended that Tinubu has been unsuccessful in various areas such as the economy, security, and governance, and that Nigerians will undoubtedly vote him out in the 2027 elections.

The ADC firmly rejected Alake's allegations as baseless and misleading, designed to deceive Nigerians and divert attention from the Tinubu administration's glaring failures. The ADC urged the APC to present credible evidence to substantiate its assertions instead of persisting in insulting Nigerians with fabricated stories presented as press releases. The headline reads: "You can't hide Tinubu's failures with lies - ADC knocks APC."
