VIDEO: Actor recalls 2023 clash with Peju Ogunmola over fired prop gun scene

Nollywood actor Digboluja, whose real name is Taofeek Adewale, shared his recollection of a 2023 clash with veteran actress Peju Ogunmola during a movie production. The incident occurred while filming a specific scene where a prop gun was used. Ogunmola reportedly became furious after Adewale shot the gun at her. In a viral video, Ogunmola expressed her dissatisfaction on social media, stating that she did not like the actor shooting a gun at her and was not informed about it.

Adewale, however, claimed that he followed the movie script, which stated that he was to play a warrior and had discussed the matter with Ogunmola, who played the role of Iyalode. Adewale also mentioned that the actress did not like guns and had informed the director about her preference. Despite this, Ogunmola became upset when she was shot by the prop gun.

The actor stated that he was surprised when Ogunmola became furious, as she had believed that he would hit her with an object instead of shooting her. The presenter inquired what Adewale should have done when the gun was fired, to which the actor replied that she was supposed to fall on the ground. After the incident, Ogunmola was annoyed with Adewale.

Some netizens praised Adewale for his composure, while others criticized the director for his actions.
