Trump has changed America’s mood — Nicki Minaj

Rapper Nicki Minaj has lauded U.S. President Donald Trump, stating he has altered the nation's atmosphere as she campaigned for Republican candidates in Michigan. During a rally in Port Huron, Minaj addressed the audience, asserting Trump had provided Americans with a hopeful future to anticipate. "We truly need all these exceptional individuals elected, as this signifies a pivotal shift for our country," she asserted.

The rapper, dressed in a Gucci outfit, led the crowd in rallying behind Trump and Republican candidates in Michigan. Trump commended Minaj upon her departure from the stage, remarking she had never appeared more beautiful and intelligent. Earlier, Trump had highlighted Minaj by making a remark about her figure before inviting her to join him on stage, eliciting cheers from the audience.

Trump had previously transported to Michigan with Minaj on Air Force One, and she also participated in a video aboard the plane, jokingly endorsing for the White House press secretary role. Minaj has previously labeled herself Trump's "number one fan," although she has criticized certain policies during his presidency. The rally occurred as Michigan's Senate race garnered attention, with Democratic contender Abdul El-Sayed challenging Republican Mike Rogers.

Trump criticized El-Sayed's Islamic faith and background, alleging that she would invite terrorists into the U.S. if elected. El-Sayed dismissed such claims as Islamophobic, arguing that Trump exploited his religion and identity to distract voters from the administration's impact on daily living expenses. Former President Barack Obama also campaigned with El-Sayed on Saturday, as both Democrats and Republicans intensified their efforts in anticipation of the November midterms.
