Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, hosted European ambassadors to showcase Kogi State's economic potential. The ambassadors included those from Belgium, Denmark, Italy, and Spain. They toured the state, visiting cultural landmarks, artisan workshops, and indigenous industries. The delegation praised Kogi's rich cultural heritage and expressed optimism about potential partnerships.
However, a planned visit to the Ajaokuta Steel Company was canceled due to lack of access approval. The senator emphasized the importance of the steel plant to Nigeria's industrial future and promised to advocate for its revival.
