Starting November 5, 2026, DStv in Ghana will launch four new subscription packages priced from GH¢50 per month, replacing its previous six offerings. MultiChoice Ghana's Country CEO, Alex Okyere, revealed this at a press conference with the Ministry for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations. The new bundles - Starter, Select, Sports, and Ultimate - provide diverse content to cater to every viewer's preferences.
The Starter pack, costing GH¢50, includes 90 channels such as Akwaaba Magic, Novellas Plus, Africa Magic Epic, Cartoon Network, Zee World, M-Net Movies and Legends, plus major football matches. The Select pack, at GH¢100, offers 123 channels like M-Net Movies, Africa Magic, CNN, WWE and more. Sports enthusiasts can opt for the Sports pack for GH¢250, featuring complete DStv football coverage including Premier League, UEFA Champions League and La Liga.
The Ultimate pack, priced at GH¢570, provides an extensive range of sports and premium entertainment. These new prices come after a year of price hikes and customer dissatisfaction over the cost of DStv subscriptions in Ghana, escalating to an average of 15 percent in April 2025.
