‘It worked’ – José Mourinho reveals his tactical blueprint to defeat Barcelona

Real Madrid's head coach José Mourinho has unveiled his tactical masterplan that led to a 2-1 victory over Barcelona in the season's first El Clásico. The Portuguese tactician highlighted the effectiveness of the midfield, specifically Eduardo Camavinga's late assist, as the key factor in breaking Barcelona's high line. Mourinho explained to the media, "I told Camavinga: go and attack the space."

He emphasized that attacking space against Barcelona is challenging for attackers, as the defense is prepared for such attempts. The solution, according to Mourinho, lies in utilizing midfielders like Camavinga and Jude Bellingham to break the line, which proved successful in the match.
