I can't believe I am leaving Google Keep for Capacities for this one feature

Google Keep has long been my go-to app for jotting down quick thoughts, creating lists, and storing random ideas. Recently, however, I stumbled upon Capacities, a note-taking and knowledge management app that introduced a game-changing feature for me. This feature, available through seamless integrations with Telegram and WhatsApp, allows me to capture everything from simple thoughts to photos, videos, and voice recordings using apps I frequently use.

Capacities operates on a unique approach to organizing information, eschewing traditional folders in favor of interconnected objects for notes, projects, images, and more. It also boasts daily notes, backlinks, tags, and other useful features. The standout for me, though, was its WhatsApp and Telegram support. By connecting these apps, I can effortlessly send text messages, images, files, or voice recordings to a dedicated chat, with Capacities automatically saving them to my daily note.

It's as if I have a personal assistant that remembers every piece of information I share. Setting up the integrations was shockingly simple - no API keys or complex workarounds were required. After connecting my WhatsApp and Telegram accounts via the easy-to-follow instructions, I was able to send messages directly to my Capacities chat.

This simplicity extends to Telegram, which uses a bot instead of a WhatsApp contact. Once connected, sharing screenshots, images, videos, or even recording a voice message is as easy as sending a text. Furthermore, I can forward content from existing conversations without switching between apps. The real-time accessibility across all my devices, including a native app for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, has transformed how I capture and manage information.

While Google Keep remains a solid choice for quick note-taking, Capacities offers a far more comprehensive suite of features, including backlinks, graph views, daily notes, and calendar integration. Its unique blend of convenience and robust functionality makes it a compelling alternative to Google Keep, especially for those who frequently use messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.
