How to request a replacement birth certificate online via Absher

The Civil Affairs Agency of Saudi Arabia, under the Ministry of Interior, has introduced an online service via Absher Individuals for citizens and residents to request a replacement birth certificate. This digital platform enables users to apply for themselves or family members, with the certificate being delivered to their registered address, eliminating the need for in-person visits to Civil Affairs offices.

The agency announced this move on its official X account, stating that the service is designed to simplify procedures and save time by allowing users to complete the replacement request online. To qualify for this service, applicants must meet several conditions: they must be citizens or residents registered and activated on the Absher platform, have no unpaid fines with the Civil Affairs sector, and possess a national address within the delivery provider's coverage area.

To initiate the request, users should log in to the Absher Individuals platform, navigate to the "Request Replacement Birth Certificate" option, and follow the necessary steps to complete the application electronically. This streamlined process allows individuals to obtain a new birth certificate without the inconvenience of visiting government offices.
