Harry Styles announced on October 24 during his residency at Madison Square Garden that a new music video for his fan-favorite song "Coming Up Roses" will drop on Monday, October 26. The news was revealed in a casual and quiet statement made on stage, as captured by fan footage. The announcement gained traction online, leading to an update of the Spotify Canvas video for "Roses" with a brief clip of dancers.
This would be the fourth music video from Styles' Billboard 200 No. 1 album Kiss All the Time, following visuals for "Aperture," "American Girls," and "Dance No More." "Coming Up Roses," a piano-and-strings ballad, has been a fan favorite since its release in March. The star's MSG residency concludes on Halloween, with "Harryween" shows on October 30-31.
A documentary chronicling the experience is in the works, directed by John Wilson and produced by Universal Pictures Content Group, Peanut World Pictures, and Styles.
