Ex-Alego Usonga who was detained after the 1982 coup dies
Former Alego Usonga MP Otieno Mak’Onyango has died while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital. The former journalist represented the constituency from 1992 to 1997 and was awarded Sh20 million by the High Court over violations of his rights during detention after the 1982 coup attempt.
