VANCOUVER - Eldorado Gold Corporation has activated the first two tailings filter presses at its Skouries mine in northern Greece. The mine houses six Metso filter presses in total, with four currently operational and one as a spare unit. Once all six filter presses are operational, the plant will be able to run continuously, gradually boosting production capacity.
