Peter Oboh, a former boxing champion and now a minister of God, has called on Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to address a serious public health issue plaguing the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway. The issue, Oboh stated, is the presence of faeces and other human waste that has turned the highway into a toilet and waste dump. "Your Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, there is a big issue that is worse than, and can escalate, Ebola," Oboh warned.
He lamented that the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway has been reduced to a waste bin due to the actions of residents, drivers, and tanker drivers. Oboh urged the governor to take swift and decisive action to clean the highway before the end of his tenure, emphasizing that a clean Lagos is crucial for the state's prosperity and the well-being of its citizens.
